India Restaurant : Giving a makeover to the brand while keeping the roots intact


Client Brief : India Restaurant is one of the most renowned biryani outlets in Kolkata with a legacy as old as four decades. They had a very strong and loyal customer base in South Kolkata. Their purpose was to spread their branches and reach the people of North Kolkata through their culinary skills.


Execution : We planned to make their branding and packaging as flavourful as their biryanis. As a digitally progressive agency, we felt the nerve of merchandise branding and thus we created a myriad of commodities that align with the brand. Arsalan and Aminia dominate the market of Mughlai cuisine in North Kolkata. To make India Restaurant stand out, we organized contests and distributed vouchers. We designed their tent cards, menu, hoardings, invites and leaflets. With a tagline of “Same Food, Same Taste, New Place”, we gave an entire makeover to their brand keeping their originality intact.

Results : India Restaurant successfully established itself as a popular outlet in North Kolkata with a huge increase in social media engagement.
